I am a wife and mother of four children, one who is high functioning autistic.  I was raised by my mother, who was also autistic, and a step-father. With siblings, step-siblings, and half-siblings, family dysfunction was my childhood normal.

For almost ten years, I was part of the “Sandwich Generation”, meaning I was both a mother caring for my young children while also being a caregiver to my mother and stepfather who were both diagnosed with different forms of dementia. 

These experiences became my inspiration for obtaining an education in Family Science. Today I am a certified family life educator, a personal, marriage, and family coach, a caregiver coach, and an end-of-life doula.  I am also actively involved in the Family Life Coaching Association and The National Council on Family Relations.

I help individuals, couples, and families develop and implement strategies that will help them strengthen and improve their relationships in all stages of life.

And as a former caregiver, I have a special love for coaching and supporting adult caregivers, including partner caregivers who lovingly care for their significant other and adult children caregivers who tirelessly care for their aging parent(s).
